We take a look at the S&P 500, closing the week on a double top at 4450, bias is to the downside. Gold is hitting on the 200 day moving average, starting to look a little bullish. Silver is trading in a tight range, resistance just above, and support just below. Platinum is looking nice on the charts and fundamentally, especially if our big thinkers decide to sanction South Africa or Russia.
Uranium on the Sprott Physical Uranium Trust is looking juicy, especially now that we know there is so much volume on the term market. Rick Rule is back on the show! We learn where he is putting his money, and his Top 3 Rules for Success. Our questions are answered, and we take a deep dive into uranium. We talk about Russian sanctions, and the effect that could have on Uranium Energy Corp. We also learn that the SPUT is more discounted than we thought:
Currently it is a 11.75% discount. If Spot market is $56.50, Ricks says term market is $60. 70% of the sales are done on the term market now. That's an additional 5.8% discount for 70% of the bet. 5.8(.70) = 4.1%. So, 11.75 + 4.1 = 15.85% Uranium in the Sprott Physical Uranium Trust are at a 15.85% discount to true market value. In a commodity that is overwhelmingly likely to increase in price. This is a screaming deal!

The S&P500 shot through 4400. Gold has moved sideways and $1950 continues to be the level to watch. Silver has major resistance at $24.41. Limit orders in for GROY, and platinum is still a great buy in our opinion. Doomberg for President 2024. He goes on to lay his base case for bullish uranium, and teaches us that RFK Jr's knowledge of Nuclear Power, is completely wrong. Nuclear is the cleanest, safest, most reliable and cost efficient form of energy in existence. We do not need to reinvent the wheel. We have the answer. Doomberg does not see a problem with conversion and enrichment of uranium.
Even though Russia controls a large part of this market, his team envisions those molecules making their way out to whomever on the planet needs them regardless of sanctions. He supports his argument by giving an example of Russian oil. We discuss Small Modular Reactors, and new technology in the sector. But again, we have the answer. The S&P500 broke above 4300. Gold is coming to an interesting inflection point. By 6/15 we will know if gold is going to head down or up. Silver closed above $24. The S&P500 is looking very bullish on the charts. We expect more consolidation in gold and silver because the DXY (the dollar) is getting stronger vs the other 7 currencies. Not to worry, this is what we call an "accumulation period."
Uranium is still selling at a discount to NAV on SPUT. Platinum fundamentals are looking even stronger with the quarterly report from WPIC (World Platinum Investment Council). Bigger deficits in platinum are on the horizon, making this bet even more likely to hit. Read Platinum Report Here.
The time frame on Bonds has been pushed out a bit with Jerome Powell's recent speech. The market has the odds of a Fed Pause coming in November now, not September. Oil is coming into a "buy zone."

Gold is consolidating, probably going to move past $1980. Silver broke a key trend line, could create another buying opportunity if we hit $22.50 (We think we will hit it). We talk about the miner ETFs, GDX, GDXJ, SILJ. SilverCrest had it's Q1 report come out. Not at nameplate capacity, but darn close!

Last week Gold hit a new all time high and we are now consolidating to the downside. Silver has broken through a key trendline in the last couple weeks. The Federal Reserve is set to raise another 25 bps this coming week during their FOMC meeting. The language that Jerome Powell uses will be interesting if he includes words such as "pause".
